This is the 3rd time I am getting unfriendly treatment from the staff. I understand if the tables are fully occupied then we won’t be able to get the tables in Air conditioning room but even though the entire room was empty still they were not letting us sit in AC room. It was quite hot (>30 •) and we had requested the staff, but they were rude and didn’t care about the situation.
Lovely staff and very nice atmosphere!
Food and Drinks are served fast and there are always kind people around.
The board game section have a wide variety- from strategy to fun games.
Sometimes reservation is needed.
I would also mention that this is a LGBTQIA+ friendly place.

This is a "local" for the gamer generation. You have access to board games, console games, arcade games, and the kind of food and drink a person would like to have when taking part in such activities.
The owner and staff are friendly, fast and proud geeks too.

Growing up pretty avid on games and being a geek, this was my home away from home almost every day for 3 weeks while I was in Linz.
Haven't come across anything like this in all my travels, walk in as strangers and leave as friends.
If you are into: Console gaming, Lanning, Retro games, Board games, Twitch streams, group video games (kinect, mario cart, bandhero etc), beer and pizza, friendly card games, great cult movies, movie nights on request, and relaxed vibes I would 100% recommend.
Big nerd and gaming cave. very good bar with lovely staff and a very open minded environment. The good drinks and snacks you can get are tasty and reasonable priced.
Gaming in all forms is not only the guiding theme in this bar, it is the staffs way of life. Always friendly, welcoming and with great events this bar fills a great niche in Linz. If you are a gamer, stop by. Just one thing, leave any anti LGBTQIA* stuff out, this is a space where DIVERSITY is written in capital letters.
Chill Bar, has a nice atmosphere and is in a nice and calm area(with free parking close by). Furthermore they got cool stuff such as a gaming room, a small game merch store and some retro consoles.
Would definitly recommend checking it out!
AMAZING place. Friendly and inclusive staff, great selection of games and gaming accessories, nice and relaxed atmosphere. A true safe space and a haven for gamers of all sorts.
Finally a bar in Linz where you can play board games!
The place overall is very nice, the people there are too, the drinks are good and the prices ok and the variety of board games is quite ok right now, but will grow in the future i assume.
